Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit givano.no or submit the form on the site. Givano Growth operates as a small sole proprietorship, and I only process data I need to deliver the service.

Data controller

What is collected

Form submissions. When you request a free analysis, I collect your name, email (optional), company name, website URL, and your description of the challenge. This is handled via Netlify Forms, which stores the data temporarily on Netlify's servers in the EU.

Technical data. Netlify, the hosting provider, automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are deleted after 30 days.

Analytics tools (with consent). If you give consent via the cookie banner, I may use the following tools to understand how the site is used:

• Google Analytics 4 for aggregated statistics on page views and traffic sources. IP addresses are anonymized.
• Microsoft Clarity for anonymized heatmaps and session recordings. The tool automatically masks all text input.

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the link at the bottom of the page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.

Legal basis

• Form submissions: Processing is necessary to respond to your inquiry (GDPR art. 6(1)(b), pre-contractual steps).
• Technical logs: Legitimate interest in operating the site securely (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics tools: Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention

• Form submissions are stored for up to 24 months after last contact, or until you request deletion.
• Technical logs are deleted after 30 days (Netlify default).
• Analytics tools store aggregated data for up to 14 months.

Who data is shared with

I do not sell data. Data is processed by these providers, all under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements:

• Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form processing)
• Google LLC (analytics, if you have consented)
• Microsoft Corporation (Clarity, if you have consented)

Some of these providers are based outside the EEA. Transfers take place under the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data I hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion (unless I have a legal obligation to retain it).
• Request restriction of, or object to, processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

Complaints

If you believe I am not following data protection rules, you can complain to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority).

Changes

This policy may be updated when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
